Technology and Features:

A Hidden Fence is essentially a small radio station within your property. The station is broadcast along the outer edge your property in a wire buried around the perimeter. This wire is harmless, it's really just a big antenna. It does not carry electricity. Where this wire is placed determines where your dog is allowed to roam and play  There are two types of radio fences, AM based and FM based. While every other radio fence system on the planet uses outdated AM radio signals, technology from the 70s, DogWatch® is the only manufacturer which utilizes FM radio signals. Why is this important? Electrical interference (static). Ever notice while listening to an AM radio the tendency to pick up noise from nearbye devices? That's electrical interference. AM Dog Fences have the same issue. This interference can wreak havoc on the operation of an AM system. Don't let them tell you otherwise. Meanwhile, our FM systems generate pure, clean, and strong radio signals around your property without any electrical interference. DogWatch® will remain the only FM based manufacturer until 2018. We're tough! while others like Invisble Fence® offer water resistant receiver collars for your dog, DogWatch® receivers are waterproof up to 10 feet deep! We're smart too! Our systems will tell you if your dog has wandered into his boundary zone more than once in the last 24 hours. This could mean that your dog needs to have his correction level adjusted. If so, you can change the setting manually or program the system to automatically raise the dog's correction level when he challenges the boundary. Once he respects his boundary for 24 hours, the system will automatically return to its previous setting. Amazing!
